CarsNFC is a tool for auto dealers and salespeople to share vehicle information with buyers using NFC cards and links. This explains what we collect and why.
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and dealership. We use these to run your account, to display your contact details on the pages your buyers see, and to reach you about billing or service issues.
Vehicle details and photos you add are stored so they can be shown to the buyers you share them with. If you record a buyer's name or contact details, that information is visible to you and to the dealership account you belong to. We do not sell it.
When a buyer taps a card or opens a shared link, we record that the page was viewed and when. This is how salespeople see which vehicles a buyer looked at. Buyers are not required to create an account or provide personal details to view a shared page.
Subscription and card orders are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy.
We use third parties to operate the service, including hosting, database, and payment providers. They may process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data by contacting us.
Access to data is restricted so that salespeople see their own records and dealership owners see their dealership's records. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every risk.
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the address listed on our contact page.
